Rebecca

I have always been a photography enthusiast. Since an early age, I helped my father in his photography business. I learned how to use a camera, and process film and images in the darkroom in my childhood home.

Throughout school, I was known to do presentations and projects involving my knowledge of photography. I was funded to go to art camps, and challenged the art program of my high school to skip grades in photography.

After high school, I chose to journey a different direction by studying the social and psychological aspect of society in college. I was driven to help others during their hard times and found employment where I put my empathy and intuition of others to work. It is in these jobs I learned to see the raw spirit and soul of others by walking in their shoes.

Not long after college, I married my friend since kindergarten and high school sweetheart, Andrew Painter, together we have a boy named Aedan and a girl named Amelia. Becoming a mother changed everything for me.

I have found the deepest meaning in the simplest things in life. When I'm not seen taking pictures or editing them, I can be found spending afternoons finding shapes in the clouds or walking barefoot in the grass with my boy. When my boy isn't occupying my time, I'm often lying on the bed tickling my baby daughter. My children are my world. I wish I could bottle these precious young years of theirs.

Watching my children's growth inspired me to, once again, pick up my camera, and put focus back on the little things that don't last. My Camera is that bottle; I use it to capture life's simple pleasures.

It would be my honor to use my craftsmanship to help capture these precious fleeting moments in your family's life journey.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my portfolio and consider using my services.

I hope to meet you soon!
